OJT Programme
The Buccoo Reef Trust has begun an On-The-Job Trainee (OJT) Programme. Youths between the ages of 16 to 30 within the National OJT Programme of the Ministry of Science, Technology & Tertiary Education are taken on as interns for periods of 6-12 months. They work alongside various BRT professionals and projects gaining valuable and diverse work experience. Approximately 12 youths might be enrolled at any one time.
The National OJT Programme may be contacted via the Tobago Regional Office, TLH Building, Milford Road, Scarborough, tel. 639 5397.
The BRT has also offered OJT experience to Rotary World of Work participants.
